Artist Notes on the “Forces of Time” Collection:
Our lives are consistently defined and run by “time”. There never seems to be enough of it and before we know it, our time is up. Like the curves carved into the sandstone of Antelope Canyon, they are passages of time, like rings in a tree trunk. Created by flash floods during monsoon seasons, they are constantly changing and evolving. There is no end or beginning. This collection of images encourages the viewer to explore their own definition of time and to practice living in the present. For in the present there is no time. It is always there and it is the only part of “time” we have access to. What a privilege!
