About Clio Saskia
Clio is the designer and maker of ethical fine jewelry made in London. A specialist in the ancient technique of lost wax casting, Clio takes inspiration from fascinating flora and fauna and delicately recreates their stories as golden miniature sculptures. Clio's work is a celebration of our natural world and the beautiful precious materials found within it.
Now an award-winning designer, Clio is a graduate of the prestigious Camberwell College of Art, where she studied sculpture with a focus on traditional carving, lost wax casting, and concepts of beauty. After completing the Jewellery Manufacturing Diploma at the British Academy of Jewellery, Clio was awarded a place in the renowned Setting Out Program at the Goldsmiths' Centre in London.

With the natural world at the center of Clio's work, all suppliers and partners are carefully selected in accordance with ethical and sustainable practices and values. Clio even spent six months mining sapphires and other gemstones by hand. You can’t get more traceable than that!
Since 2015, Clio has specialized in creating one-of-a-kind bespoke designs for her clients. Whether you are interested in heirloom redesign using antique gemstones or are looking for a unique gemstone for a custom design, Clio works sensitively with her clients to create highly personal, unique jewels.
