craftsmanship shaped by a painter’s eye.
Lori Francescutti began as a painter, studying light and form, but her restless spirit led her across the globe—from New York street fairs to winters in Mexico, and even attending births as a midwife in Africa and Asia—collecting experiences that now inform her jewelry.
In 2018, a visit to a Navajo jewelry shop in Moab inspired her to teach herself metalsmithing, and she now creates from her studio in the Haliburton Highlands, treating each gemstone like a tiny painting waiting to be framed.
Working in 18k and 22k solid gold, Lori celebrates natural gems with inclusions, unusual colors, and vintage or reclaimed stones. A licensed Fairmined Gold Artisan, she prioritizes traceable, ethical materials, fair labor, and environmental care, ensuring every piece carries both beauty and meaning.
