Up-Up Chocolate
Taste chocolate made right. Up-Up Chocolate’s child labor-free, single-estate cocoa is certified for fair and honest working conditions.
Bringing
fairness and opportunity to the chocolate industry.
Up-Up Chocolate addresses a critical gap in the industry by offering rigorously certified, child labor-free chocolate. Their simplified cocoa supply chain—plantation, processing site, and factory—ensures complete transparency.
The single-estate plantation that the cocoa is sourced from is called El Rosario, which sits on the Caribbean coast in the North of Colombia near a town called NecoclÃ.
From the plantation, the beans travel to Bogotá, where they are processed by Luker Chocolate, a Colombian family business with over 100 years of history.
From Colombia, the processed beans sail by container to the Edinburgh, Scotland waterside factory, where the chocolatiers develop recipes and make the chocolate bars.
Up-Up Chocolate prioritizes people over commodities, empowering every worker to meet international human rights standards. With their B Corp certification, Up-Up Chocolate champions transparency, accountability and equality.
